We came back to Santa Cruz a second time because we had to stop there on our way from Isabela to San Cristobal (because there are no direct boats between Isabela and Cristobal). While there we stayed with our couchsurfing friend, Leah, who took us camping at an amazing beach on the other side of the island.

After our experience at Sierra Negra, we decided it was time to get educated, and study the Plan de Manejo (Park Management Plan) in the public library so we would know our rights.
