Sucre, Bolivia

Often called "Ciudad Blanca" for its white-washed colonial buildings, Sucre is Bolivia's constitutional capital, and a UNESCO world heritage site.

The Supreme Court

La Merced Church

Colonial street and San Lázaro Church

The Cathedral

San Francisco Church

Unfortunately Sucre was where Josh was struck down with Typhoid Fever and e. Coli, so we stayed for a couple of weeks while he was recovering. Josh, who is normally pretty healthy claims that this was by far the sickest he has ever been.

At first we were not sure what it was, so he was tested for Malaria and Dengue Fever.

Negative to Malaria!
