Tambo Machay, Puka Pukara, Qenqo, Peru

On this day we took a bus to Tambo Machay and then walked back towards Cuzco stopping at several Inca sites along the way.

An Inca fountain at Tambo Machay which we were told is fed by an underground spring from within the hillside.

Puka Pukara:

The walk between sites...

Potato harvest

Qenqo:

A large Inca temple which incorporates natural rock formations into the design. At this site, several staircases and bowl-like features were carved out of enormous pieces of solid rock.
