Barbados Christmas

Boxing Day

In Mexico it is traditional for families to have a piñata on Christmas day rather than presents under a tree. Presents are delivered to children by the Magi on January 6th. Our gift to our Barbados group was this Mexican Piñata which we carried through 4 customs crossings. It finally met its end on Boxing day, much to the delight of the children (and Laura).

An uncommon sight on an island which gets most of its power from diesel generators
