Pasto, Colombia

This post marks the beginning of what we intended to be a week long visit to Colombia. Instead it turned into 2 months (the length of our visas). Pasto was our first stop and it is not much of a tourist town. However, the accommodation is cheap and was a nice base to go for a day-hike into Galeras national park. We originally wanted to climb up to the volcano but were advised not to because of recent volcanic activity.
