Nevado del Tolima Hike: day 3

We spent the night at a lovely farm, Finca Primavera, and the next morning set out in search of a lake and mountain views.

It was windy, rainy, and extremely cold.

Nevado del Tolima Hike: days 1 and 2

The boys riding on the back of the jeep on the way to the mountain...there were a lot of people crammed into that jeep.

Stretching at the trailhead, Cocora, 2390m above sea level

Drying clothing is difficult when it is night, and freezing out.

This butterfly really liked Josh.

Salento, Colombia

Anya and Josh left Victoria, B.C. over a year and a half ago and had driven through every country in the continental Americas in their rebuilt bio-diesel Landcruiser.

We made vegetarian food.

Visit to an organic coffee farm:

Pineapples grew between the coffee plants.

This was the freshest pineapple we had ever tasted!

Salud!

We found this sign in Armenia, on the way to Salento.
