Salamanca Market

Rain or shine, the Salamanca Market is held every Saturday of the year near Hobart's waterfront and downtown area. We bought a lot of our produce there (particularly prior to establishing our garden--more on that later), so these photos were taken at various times during 2010.

This strange vehicle is what's known as a "ute." It's a bit like a cross between a pick-up truck and a sedan, and seems to be a very typical Australian vehicle. And this is a ute full of beans!
