Waves in Northern Barbados

At one time, Barbados was covered with over 650 wind mills to process the massive crops of sugar cane. Today, their skeletons are scattered across the Island but none are operational. We all found it a bit strange that on an Island with such steady winds electricity is generated by diesel generators.
